We at Lab Services provide virtual machine environments tailored to different educational needs within the department. Whether you need individual VMs for project work or mass-deployed environments for teaching, our infrastructure supports your requirements.
For individual projects, we provide dedicated virtual machines to support your project work (WiPro/Wirtschaftsprojekt), Bachelor's and Master's theses. Learn how to request your own VM and what information you need to provide below.

- When the VM needs to be available

- When the VM can be decommissioned (max. 6 months)
- Hostname
- Your preferred VM hostname
- Operating System
- Which OS you need installed
- Size/Flavor
- Required compute resources (CPU, RAM)
- Storage
- Required disk space
- Ports
- Any specific ports that need to be used
- Sensitive Data
- Whether you intend to process sensitive data on the VM
After filling out all required information in the form, submit your request. Our team will review the details and process your application.
